Hornet Heaters are extremely safe and reliable heaters, designed to maintain a constant temperature in enclosures. They are certified waterproof and safe for areas where known combustibles may be present.

 

Each Hornet Enclosure Heater contains the following:

 

• Hermetically sealed non-adjustable thermostat

 

• Waterproof, 50,000 hour, ball-bearing fan 

 

• Wet location power cord. Many lengths available.

 

Hornet Heaters are available in any many voltages 12V DC, 24V DC, 48V DC, 120v AC or 240v AC There are also many wattage options available. The unit is provided with a non-adjustable thermostat or non-thermostat controlled.

 

Hornet Heaters are extremely safe and reliable. These heaters meet ISO 8846 Standard Ignition Protection requirements and are certified for use in explosive environments as required by ISO 8846. They are manufactured with the most advanced semi-conducting, self-temperature regulating material (similar to LED lights). They do not contain conventional resistive style heating elements. It is impossible for our heaters to start a fire because the electrical resistance of the material increases as the temperature increases. Once the heating modules reach 375˚F, the electrical resistance approaches infinity and there is essentially no electrical flow.This is a physical characteristic of the material and is not accomplished by switches or relays.
